Bowlus has just revealed the new Volterra, which it’s calling the first-ever all-electric RV. However, while the camper comes equipped with a 17kWh lithium iron phosphate battery – which boasts a 100 percent capacity increase over the company’s previous Terra Firma model – it’s worth noting that it will need to be towed behind another vehicle. Nevertheless, the Volterra still circumvents the need for propane or gas. Its features include an induction cooktop stove, hydronic heating system and AeroSolar technology, which fans can use to charge their systems and devices. Notably, the Volterra is also the first trailer to offer high-speed satellite internet (thanks to Starlink). The camper can sleep up to four people, boasts a spacious bathroom (equipped with a shower) and costs $310,000.

Today we’re looking at a new knife, winter boots and food-storage system. This is Today in Gear.
