Inductotherm Heating & Welding Ltd is pleased to announce that the Hydro Extrusion at its Cressona plant in Pennsylvania, USA has recently accepted the production of Banyard aluminum billet induction booster heaters.

Following the successful installation of the system in Hydro Tonder, Denmark in 2019, Hydro Extrusion recognized that this additional installation will bring significant production benefits to their plants in the United States. The system combines the cutting-edge Banyard LFi 800kW smart system with a multi-zone coil induction booster heater and a zero-friction processing system for 10-inch aluminum billets, and is compatible with the second unit, as planned production increases.

The Banyard team in the United Kingdom worked closely with colleagues from the Inductotherm Group of EMSCO in the United States for installation and commissioning. We would like to take this opportunity to recognize the contribution of our Italian professional partners, who together with us provided a complete turnkey solution for Hydro Cressona's new 45MN press and extrusion plant.

We are pleased to announce our participation in ET'21, the International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar to be held in Florida, USA from May 11th to 13th, 2021. We will show our latest Banyard technology-including the latest generation of Banyard LFi intelligent system in addition to the presentation of new technical papers.
