YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Induction Professionals was selected to display their 60Hz line frequency high efficiency billet heater at the International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar & Exposition, Extrusion Tech in Orlando, Florida.

Thomas Kearney, president of Induction Professionals, presented the equipment, which is designed to save customers more than $1 million, according to a press release.

By redesigning the equipment used in the induction heating process the unit can save companies at least 23% of their heating costs. The release also states it allows businesses to in the green, energy-focused environment of today.

“This is a huge savings in utility costs for an energy-intensive heating process,” said Kearney.

“The prototype operated 24 hours a day, for over 365 days a year, for three years before routine cleaning.”

Induction Professionals builds and repairs induction heating and melting equipment for markets in the U.S. and European Union.
